Good price and performance but size up
I hike and live in the mountains so base layers are on me most of the year. Saw the price on this and took a shot. It’s crazy soft against the skin, appears to be well made and provides pretty solid warmth. Not as a good a choice as merino if you’re working hard on a trail but for more casual use I think it’s good choice. Especially at the price. But you absolutely will need to size up.I’m a large in most all tops (6′ 185) but I could barely put the large I initially ordered on. Had to exchange. I sized up to an XL and while it will work for how I’ll use it, I still found it a little tight (although not too binding) and the sleeves are a bit short. If you’re looking for a hiking baselayer I’d say at least one size up is the call. But if you’re looking to wear it on its own outside, or just want to lounge/sleep comfortably, I’d suggest two sizes up.

smooth finish
tight fitting, smooth material (unlike traditional thermals I purchased in the past), keeps me warm.

A warm hug on cooler nights
I was amazed by this shirt. I know that for many decades people preferred baggy sleeping clothes that are two sizes too big, I don’t like that. This shirt is so very light. It hugs my body easily and keeps in my core heat in during cool nights. It is very flexible. I originally bought this for a night shirt. But I’m thinking about buying a few more for daytime in the upcoming winter months.

Very comfortable thermals – buy 2-3 sizes larger
I normally wear a large, so I got 2XL and 3XL. The 3XL fits like a slim or skinny fit large, and is a bit long for me but not too long in the arms. The 2XL is a better length in the torso, but it’s the tightest I would ever wear. The best thing about it is the fleece interior and light weight.

Size up at least one if not two sizes.
Likes: texture of the inside of the shirt in comfortable and it does a decent job of keeping you warm.Dowsides/things to consider: the fit really leans into the “compression” style. I’m 6’3″ 198lbs and this thing looks painted on. I wear large in every shirt and sweater I own but sized up to an XL for this. Even still, this is uncomfortably tight. The bottom digs into armpits, the sleeves pull up toward my elbows gradually, and when I lift my arms over my head the entire thing rides up toward my upper torso. I bought it last minute for a trip so can’t do anything about it now. I’ll be donating and trying something even bigger.

Fitted long sleeve, with fitted wrist cuffs and a slight fleece lining
I hate long sleeves that the wrist cuff is loose, or is stretched out beyond normal after a few wears. This shirt is more of a tight fit and the sleeves fit. I’m 5’9 137lbs and a medium is about as tight as I’d want to go with this. The fit as not quite as tight as compression fit, but close. The thin fleece lining provides a great level of warmth that traditional “waffle” thermals. This shirt is ideal if you want much better warmth that traditional “Long John’s” while almost being just as thin.
