Extremely handsome without being gaudy. Classic yet contemporary design.
No one really *needs* a Rolex. But if you have the means and you feel comfortable carrying around circa $13,000 on your wrist — and if you appreciate the art and science of exemplary watch-making — this is an excellent choice. I happen to love the chocolate dial in this rose-gold and steel Datejust, but it’s obviously a matter of taste.If you’ve achieved something meaningful in your life and if you don’t mind showing people this, it’s a great watch. (It’s also a great investment, plus something to pass on to a younger loved one.)
