Honest Review
Well, like many others before me, I broke another pair of Costas. I saddens me because they said it was not repairable, so I was looking for a cheaper alternative for both fishing and protecting my eyes from that obnoxious Florida sun. These definitely have a cheaper feel to them compared to a pair of Costas, but they do the job. These block the glare on the water and give more visual clarity allowing me to see all the fish I won’t catch, or the submerged stump that’s about to ruin my day, or my phone falling helplessly to the bottom of the lake, and every time the sun smacks me in the face, I barely even notice it’s there. They do fit snuggly on my big asymmetrical head. Maybe a little too snuggly, almost like they might be trying to become one with my face. Time will tell how they will hold up but for the price I may just use these for my next tantrum when the fish gets away or FSU loses again or if I just plain want to show how macho I am in front of all one of my friends while trying to impress what appears to be an attractive female. In fact, I bought two just for that reason although I’ve been told I have terrible vision, and these do absolutely nothing for that. If the lenses don’t get all scratched up, like other cheaper brands, from me constantly nervously wiping them every time I talk to a pretty girl it will be a huge plus. I will miss not being able to show everyone that I’m better than them with a fancy over-priced pair of Costas but let’s face it, I can be the one who makes Huk a much more popular brand among those who think they can fish and bring them more business for their eyewear than they could ever imagine and that’s something to be proud of.

I’ve now had 2 pair of these HUK sunglasses. I think the fit is good and the lens are good. Not much to complain about for $50.

My 2nd pair. Some of the best glasses I’ve owned for money. Although, the plastic lense does make noise around the frame or eye inserts, but the lenses still stay in and the lenses are very scratch resistant and polarized. For $48 bucks they do a good job.

I bought these for my husband as a gift. He typically wears Costa’s and does not try any other brands. He LOVED these. He lives in sunglasses, as he works outdoors, and is very picky about his glasses. He said they are very comfortable and light weight. He actually asked for another pair, as he loses or breaks his glasses pretty regularly and likes to have a back up.pair. These have held up to his active lifestyle and he has not lost them yet. Will be ordering more for sure!

The rubber is coming unglued after minimal use over a year’s time.
I bought these in April of 2021 when I had a broken leg due to a compound fracture and ended up wearing an external fixator for 9 months. So, when I say I did not wear these or even go outside much in the last year, it is an understatement. I even kept them in the box they came in for most of last year.I just started walking again and finally have a need to use them other than going to the hospital for surgery, and now the rubber on both arms is peeling away. The lens’ seem to be ok, I believe they are supposed to be polarized but I am not sure they are truly polarized lens. They do seem to be pretty scratch resistant, which is why they are getting three stars. Definitely not worth the 50$ when I can buy subpar glasses from 7-11 for only 20$.I am now looking elsewhere for my next pair, maybe you should too.Update:I went ahead and peeled off the rubber tips because they were annoying me. I then took a Dremel and went ahead and removed the small track that the rubber pieces were hanging on to, and I have to say, I think they look much better. HUK take note please

Glasses fit really good!! Only downside is there isn’t a soft bag for the glasses. But that aside very happy for fishing glasses.
